About The Marina

Just 15 miles north of downtown Ketchikan, Knudson Cove Marina nestles into the beautiful Tongass National Forest. Since the 1940’s Knudson Cove Marina has harbored fishermen and families that have had a heart for adventure.

We offer guided charter fishing for Salmon & Halibut to those who desire to learn from the most knowledgeable captains on our island. For those who are looking to create their own adventure, we have all that you need for a DIY trip. With our fleet of rental boats and cozy lodging you can come and be part of our family as you make memories that will last a lifetime.

Knudson Cove Marina’s location is unmatched for fishing. You can literally catch multiple species of Salmon as you troll out of the Marina! Our guests also love to catch Halibut, Rockfish, Crab and more.

Knudson Cove Marina began in the 1940's built on a single float. The current Marina offers 130 moorage slips, gear storage lockers, skiff/boat/kayak rentals, several waterfront units, 3 private cabins, a large tackle shop, airport shuttles, liquor store, fuel service & freezer space.

As testimony to the lure of Knudson Cove Marina, every year we welcome back guests who have been staying at and using our facilities up to 30 years in a row. It is a friendly place offering all the fish and other beauties of nature you could imagine.
